Wear it with confidence.

My favorite part about dressing myself is seeing how the clothes come together to compliment the shape of my body. Everyone is different and all bodies are beautiful in their own particular way. Pulling pieces that highlight the parts of the body we are confident in is key to creating a beautifully put together outfit.IMG_4128When shopping, I always tend to pick up pieces that have a fit I’m familiar with. For example, because I have wide hips, I always go for bottoms that are either mid rise or high rise. This skort from H&M is just hugging in all the right places. Although it isn’t ideal for fall, I paired it with tights to get more use out of it in the colder weather.

IMG_4171IMG_4222In almost all of my looks for the fall, you can find me wearing a mock neck blouse. I find this neckline to be the most flattering for women who like to wear higher necklines. If your neck is longer or you have a longer face, you might want to opt for wearing a turtle neck instead. My least favorite neckline is the boat neck, so I can guarantee you will never see me wearing that on this blog, ever! Some may say that higher necklines are unflattering on women who have a fuller bust, but I think its a matter of personal preference. Why put ourselves in a box? If it works, it works. Don’t question it.IMG_4177When wearing a high neckline, I’m also more confident in wearing my hair slicked back. My shoulders look less broad and I don’t necessarily need my hair to cover them. Regardless, pulling your hair back can show off your fabulous jawline and facial structure. Don’t be afraid to put down the curler once in awhile!
