Saying “NO” to Yoga Pants

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, sometimes life just gets in the way! Andrea and I actually shot this look on Superbowl Sunday, which was quite a while ago. I was kind of confused on how I wanted to dress for the day because I’m not really into the whole gym clothes during the day, or as the fashion world likes to call it, “athleisure,” trend.

This outfit was so comfortable and cute. Definitely not an outfit that makes you want to rush home and put your pajamas on as soon as possible. I could spend all day in these BCBGeneration leggings. Top is also BCBGeneration.

I’ve been wanting a camel coat and this one from Topshop is perfect. It goes with absolutely every outfit. Dressy or casual this is definitely a go-to for me. Also, the faux fur collar is de-tachable. Not having a de-tachable collar or hood is usually a deal breaker for me when I’m buying a coat. Sometimes you just don’t need all of that extra shit. A good coat is good on its own.

I bought this backpack from Forever21 ages ago and it has stayed in perfect condition. I never really use it, but out of the faux leather things I’ve bought from Forever21 in the past, this has stayed in the best shape. It’s also a good alternative for days when I don’t feel like carrying a humungous tote around Manhattan with me.

IMG_5917IMG_5914In my world, it isn’t acceptable to wear yoga pants all day. That’s why a good pair of leggings, a loose fitting top, and a cute backpack will do.

Hope you guys enjoyed this look.

Xo,

B
