As the weather gets colder, our skin gets drier. Nobody likes dull, dry skin. Especially, when you want that flawless, dewy complexion. There’s no reason why we can’t have that all year round. Andrea & I have picked our top 10 moisturizing products that we think you all should try! One, or both of us, have used these products and we really stand by their ability to moisturize and freshen the skin.

Lets get started, shall we.

  1. Cerave AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion – Both Andrea and I use this product and absolutely love it! It is easily available at any drug store and the best thing about it is that it has SPF 30 in it. We both love products that protect our skin from the damages of the sun. It is so important to use products with sunscreen in them. It’s one less step to have a moisturizer with SPF already in it, rather than relying on your makeup to provide protection against UV rays. Another great benefit of this moisturizer is that it is lightweight and non greasy. It’s the perfect product to wear during the day and under makeup. We promise your makeup won’t slide off with this stuff!
  2. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream – This moisturizer can be used all over the body. Bianca swears by this stuff! It is great for people with acne prone skin, as it never will break you out. It is completely non-comedogenic and provides great moisture to the face and body. Bianca uses it during the day when her skin is feeling extra dry, but mostly likes to use it at night because it is on the thicker side.
  3. GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment – This stuff smells absolutely amazing, which is one of the reasons it is number 3 on this list! Other than smelling amazing, it is so moisturizing and you can sleep in it. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it really works. It is one of those masks that tingles when you wear it, so you can really feel it “working.” This mask is safe to use on acne prone skin and seems to calm any existing facial redness down after use.
  4. Kiehl’s Crème de Corps – This Kiehl’s body moisturizer is EVERYTHING. It’s creamy, non-greasy, and smells fantastic. Bianca absolutely loves it. It is a holy-grail product during the winter. Especially on cracked, dry, or flaky winter hands. It’s a little pricey, but a small amount goes a long way.
  5. Evian Spray Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water – This product is great as a toner, setting spray, and a quick hydrator for throughout the day. When your face is feeling a little tired, just a little spritz of this could make you feel like a new person. Also, if your makeup is looking a little flakey, this is the ultimate fix, especially if you have acne prone skin.
  6. Josie Maran, Pure Argan Milk – Many people with acne prone skin are afraid to use oils, but this one is as non-irritating as it gets. This Josie Maran serum is the perfect mixture of purified water and argan oil, leaving the skin feeling soft, supple, and hydrated. If you’re nervous to try out any serums or oils due to acne or skin irritation, this is a great serum to start out with. It absorbs into your skin within seconds and is great to use before bed.
  7. Nugg Hydrating Face Mask – This tiny pod of a mask works wonders! When Andrea’s skin feels dull and dry, she applies this mask at nighttime and wakes up with super soft and hydrated skin. You can apply it before bed and let it sit on the skin for 10 minutes, or leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning. It’s great because it doesn’t irritate the skin or make it oily. It’s easy to use, very affordable, and can get about two to three uses per pod.
  8. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre – This works great as a moisturizer and primer to create a dewy glow before applying your makeup. Andrea loves to use this on herself and her clients. Moisturizing is definitely important to create a flawless face, but be sure not to apply too much of this product on the skin because it can appear oily.
  9. belif, The True Cream – Korean skincare has become very popular in the United States, I mean have you seen their skin? According to Sephora.com, The True Cream was the number one selling product in Korea’s highly competitive selective beauty market across all categories. This is another product that is amazing for moisturizing acne prone skin. If you are on any acne medication, including: Benzoyl peroxide, Retin A, or Clindamycin; your skin can get extremely dry, itchy, and red. This moisturizer calms the skin and won’t irritate it any further. Andrea and I, both swear by this product and other products by belif! We just love the brand altogether.
  10. LaVanila, The Healthy Body Butter – When it comes to lotions, Bianca prefers light, airy smells that aren’t too overbearing. This lotion is all natural and the scent of pure vanilla lingers on the skin for hours. It is very moisturizing for the body, especially on the hands. If you like lotions with a scent, this one is definitely worth the price as the scent of vanilla is calming and long lasting.

Don’t be afraid to ask your local Sephora, Ulta, or department store for a sample of any of these products. You can also find some of the products on this list at a drug store near you.
